  Patty and her charming store could not be anymore lovely. As a local small business owner (I run dogs) and someone who loves animals enough to want to serve them full time, it's fabulous to have someone down the street from us who can never seem to do enough for the animals in our community, and holds the same values and standards I feel I do. We are so lucky to have For Paws (and Patty) in our community!!

  Five stars for five star animal-loving people. My 4 year old daughter, Chloe, had two cats tragically  pass away on back to back days about two weeks ago.  An incredible cat they helped rescue and Chloe have officially fallen in love.  Thank you For Paws!!!  She also got to spend some time with the chickens 🙂

  The women at the cash register (I think she's the owner) was extremely helpful. They had everything we needed and great recommendations. They also have a drive up pick up right now so you don't even have to go inside!

  We recently discovered this hidden gem in Fairfax and paid a second visit to sniff it out. Lovely people, nice things, healthful foods, great service, and easy parking in its own lot! Your dog or cat will be delighted if you stop by for delicious treats or foods or fun toys. We needed a bed for a crate and they special ordered it with next day delivery at a great price and showed our rescue pup lots of love on his first outing.

  Shop local! Very nice owners, great selection of higher end pet food at the best pricing I've seen anywhere.

  Our dog wandered from our house, was picked up by an out-of-towner, and Patty-the owner of For Paws-offered to keep the dog at her shop until she could find the owner.
She coordinated having our dog scanned by The Marin Humane Society (our dog was not wearing her collar), and within 3 hours we got our dog back. She handled an emergency situation perfectly. What a great resource for the community here in Fairfax! Thank you Patty!!!

This neighborhood pet store is owned by a really groovy gal named Marguerite, and her cutey pie pups.  For Paws focuses on carrying a lot of locally made and eco-friendly pet products - yay! While the shop is small, Marguerite is happy to order anything you might need.
