APRIL BREAKFAST IS SET FOR THE 13th!
I am deeply honored to have been elected to be your next Post 313 Commander and I'm getting into the swing of things. I look forward to working with you with new initiatives going forward. I welcome your comments and suggestions. I especially invite you to attend our monthly staff meetings on the first Monday of each month. Your input is welcome to help set our future direction. It's at 9 am in the Club Room.
PART TIME JOB OPPORTUNITY: We are looking to hire a person to manage the office. No bookkeeping or accounting is involved. We need a person to open the mail and decide what the disposition should be, identify items requiring immediate attention and filing the rest. As mentioned in the welcome message above, plan to attend the breakfast. The cost is still only $5, so bring a guest. Breakfasts are on the second Saturday of each month at 9 am in the Club Room. RSVP to Bob Gonzalez at bobsrags@gmail.com with your name, number of diners and a phone number. You will still be welcome if you forget to RSVP, but it will help us to plan food purchases.
The second Monday of the month ragtime music continues and attendance is growing. April 8th is the next event. You may bring your own food and drink. Come and give it a try. Attendance is free! It's ragtime piano from 5:30 to 7:30 followed by the Zenith Jazz Band until 9:30.
With all that is going on, why don't you join the fun and help us. Come to the Club Room for a Monday or Thursday morning coffee at 9 am and renew acquaintances. We need a bit of member help now with a few easy but recurring tasks. An hour or two per week is all we need. Please step up and ask about helping. Welcome all.

5:30-7:30 Ragtime era piano ragtime and early jazz and blues
7:30 - 9:30 Zenith Jazz Band, a 7 piece band playing tunes from the 1920s for listening and dancing.
