The Tiburon Challenger is a $75,000 men's professional that’s event that is part of the ATP World Tour. It attracts rising stars in tennis, as they work their up to higher levels. Among the previous Tiburon Challenger competitors who played at this year's US Open are Ben Shelton, who came second in Tiburon in 2022 and reached the semifinals in the US Open this year, Michael Moh, Frances Tiafoe, Tommy Paul and Cameron Norrie.

Qualifying matches take place on Sunday, October 1, and the Main Draw begins on Monday, October 2. Free Kids Play Day is on Sunday, October 1, and Wheelchair tennis and Special Olympics exhibitions take place before the final on Sunday, October 8.
