Welcome to my music studio! Music is my deepest life's love, and I joy in sharing it!

My performing background includes freelance chamber music concerts as recorder player, along with members of Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra and American Bach Soloists. I also studied piano and harpsichord while in music school.
I have 35 years of experience instructing children and adults alike. Lessons are oriented to the skills of playing, reading, listening, developing the musical ear, and musical interpretation. I will also teach you how to practice effectively. Playing skills are underscored by top of the line ergonomic instruction, as informed by hand, head and spine anatomy, affecting playing in a profound way. My approach is tailored to the individual. Each one of us has individual learning processes and needs. Lessons are organized around those individualized processes. This is part of what keeps it fun for me! I enjoy learning about peoples' individualized processes, and getting to know my students as individuals.
