Don't be fooled by the faded facade or the less than stellar location. Saigon Village is a great place to get Vietnamese food! The service was fast and cheerful. Our drink orders came right away. The server helped us decide which dishes would compliment each other. The appetizer of Fried Chicken Wings was piping hot, very crispy, and deliciously seasoned with a touch of 5 spice. All of the flavors were well balanced and very fresh.
I also really like the pictures of the dishes offered. Even the takeout menu contains full color numbered pictures so that you have some idea what it is you're ordering. AND the dishes come out looking just like the pictures! That's a real plus for anyone not familiar with Vietnamese foods.
The prices are extremely reasonable. We both had drinks, appetizer, and 2 entrees for $30. A bowl of Pho is $4.95! You can't beat that.
Give this place a try. Now we don't have to drive up to Petaluma or over to 99 Ranch to get Vietnamese food!
